Aside from the color, an amazing product

As much as I don't like the color, the product itself works well. No smell and the bedding doesn't give that soggy appearance regular beddign does after only a couple of days. We do a full cleaning of cage once/week and this stuff holds up very well.

Great quality, and so nice to have it delivered to my door.

Great quality, lessens odors. Even better: it's a really nice TREAT FOR ME... not to have to go specifically to the pet store to get what I need and lug it home. I usually buy 2 bags at a time (25 liters per bag - I'm guessing 8-10 pounds per bag!), 3 bags of food (total of 15 pounds just for food), and huge bags of hay (6 pounds each)!!! It's a large, awkward load to get it all into the shopping cart, take it out at the checkout, put it into the shopping cart, out into the car, into the house... I feel like I'm pampering myself to order it online and have the box arrive at the door!

Seems to be identical to the bedding (not nesting) but much cheaper

This product (Carefresh Pet Bedding-Nesting) seems to be almost identical to the regular Carefresh Pet Bedding that we had been using for our rabbit in his litter box. It seems maybe a little stiffer than the other material but otherwise it functions the same. The bag claims the pieces are 25% larger but that is not noticeable to me. It's currently much cheaper in price though than the regular bedding so I'll continue to use this.

I have typically purchased this in white. This product in brown is not as fluffy as the white bedding but it does hide my rabbits poop better (so be sure not to forget to clean the cage!). My rabbit seems to like it and I have noticed sometimes she does much on it. Good price and works well. It seems to absorb well and clean up is easy. I will continue to repurchase.

my new order is not the same as my last order, my 2 pkgs of bedding aren't soft they feel like pure carboard that was left out in the rain and dried out , I am very uo set with this order. old stock. This is a replacement i just received it's HORRIBLE,I steps on it bare gooted , it will make my 5 rabbits feel like they are walking on nails, the bedding is large pieces and hard as rock, the whole bag isn't isn;t vaccum packed , real gaebage. going to dump it.this product makes amazon look badI wasted my money

This is my favorite litter for rabbits. I uses a giant litter dish, put down a thick layer of this stuff and then a layer of hay on top. Every day add a little for hay to the top, and it usually stays fresh for over a week or two. I like this litter because it has some weight to it and doesn't fly all over the place when they dig, like other litters do. The price is good as well, especially if you subscribe. I get one unit per month and it's plenty for my two rabbits (sharing a pan)

Great product. We use it for our guinea pig. The cage never has an odor. This product holds up well and doesnt create a mess like some of the other fillets we have tried. Carefresh is the best bedding I've used

Carefresh bedding for rabbit / Guinea is by far the best product I have used for our 2 Guinea pigs. The product is a little larger which means less bedding outside the cage. The product itself does not have an odor but controls urine odor excellent. I can go a few days before the bedding becomes wet to the touch. It expands with little effort and it does not bother my asthma. Definitely give this product a try.

Lifesaver! Really Works! Holds off ammonia smell from guinea pigs and absorbs well!

We have three male guinea pigs. They pee and poop and the worst part is the pee! We have tried shavings. Yuck. We currently use fleece bedding for them which has to be changed and washed every 4 days or the ammonia smell gets terrible. We are having neighbors watch them for 7 days while we go away and I thought, there is no way the piggies can live in smell and filth for that long and no way am I going to ask the neighbors to do a full cage clean out. After much review I decided to give the CareFresh guinea pig and rabbit bedding a try based solely on the reviews. Oh my gosh. It's like an answer to my prayers. First of all the guinea pigs really really like this bedding. And second they now intentionally go to pee and poop in the one corner almost consistently! Now the big test: absorption and smell. I am into day 3 and so far there is no ammonia smell!! I go in at least every night or every 2nd day and scoop out the "wet" part of the bedding in the corner where they pee. There's not much, maybe one or two handfuls and I then replace it with a few handfuls of fresh bedding. I also have a puppy pee pad underneath the bedding but so far that hasn't even gotten wet. I am very impressed with this bedding and I think that as far as the rest of their cage goes it won't need a full cage clean out for at least 10 days. Hallelujah!

When they say odor stop, they mean it!

I just bought this bedding two months ago and they have raised the price by $4 so I wanted to take one star off. Otherwise I would give this 5 stars for the quality and price! But still ended up giving 5 stars because of the quality. It says it stops odors for 10 days & I went up to 7 without any odors! I went with plain fleece bedding before and a litter box it would use occasionally but I recently switched to making half of his cage bedding and half fleece liner. The fleece liner wasn’t cutting it and helping with the odors even after washing every week. Wow I just love this bedding and having an odor free home while enjoying the company of my Guinea Pig. Plus my boyfriend has stopped complaining about the smell, Thank God! I usually mix up the bedding daily so some parts get used and other parts have time to dry. I notice the bedding dries quick because I don’t see much wet spots often. I love this stuff, can’t say it enough. I will purchase from chewy.com since they sell it for a much lower price!
