Amazing for teen girls.
This Bible is amazing! I have the previous one from 5 years ago. I have used it every day. It was getting beat up and as I am turning 14 this October, I figured why not get a new one to record my thoughts in my teen years. This Bible may be recommended for younger girls, but I don't know why. In some of the articles in I survived, it talks about sex and kissing, trying to get a guy etc. Not for 8-year-olds. They may advertise for younger girls, but nope! I would not advise it. I love this Bible and reccomend it for 12+

I am so so so excited! I bought this Bible after searching far and wide for the perfect bible for my almost 9 year old daughter. I settled on this translation (NLT) after having read it myself last year. It is easier for her to understand than the HCBS translation I got her 2 years ago. My only reservation about this Bible was that I thought it did not have Jesus’ words in red. What a wonderful surprise we had when we saw that Jesus’ words are indeed highlighted in light pink!!! My daughter didn’t understand why I was so excited about that lol. The helpful devotionals and colored pages throughout the Bible are an added bonus. I’m so happy with this purchase!!!
An excellent choice for the young teen girl in today's world
I got everyman's study bible for my son, and wanted something similar for my daughter. This wasn't exactly what I was expecting as it reminds me more of a teen girls magazine in the way it is printed and illustrated. This isn't a bad thing though as it is the message that matters not what color the ink and pages are. Instead of black and white, the ink is purplish and the pages have pinkish (I might be a little color blind) tints to the borders. There are glossy pages that are brightly colored and illustrated, scattered throughout the book, each deals with different topics that help you stop and think about what you are reading. Each book of the bible has a page that covers when the book was written, who wrote it, and what it deals with. There are side panels throughout the book, dealing with situations teen girls face, places to write things about yourself, and footnotes that have commentary about the text. There is a scripture index in the front to help find texts for many situations, and other indexes in the back. Unlike most bibles with a map section, the maps are in the text, beside the action in the text. There is a maps index in the back to help you find them. The maps are some of the standard ones, like the exodus map that every bible has with no sea crossing shown (!) And an excellent one showing the two kingdoms of Israel, along with a list of kings and prophets from each (never seen that one before, I will use it for preaching! ) The only Mapa missing are the ones showing the kingdom of Babylon, medes and Persians, and greeks, but those matter more in a study of world history, than bible study. Overall this is an excellent Bible that will give a regular reader a great understanding of the word of God.
Beautiful Bible, Makes a great gift!
My daughter received this as a gift from her great grandmother. She just turned 10 and wanted a big girl bible. She loves this bible. It is full of great references geared to her age. It is colorful and full of things that relate to her every day life. If you are looking for a bible for your tween daughter, I highly recommend this. The cover is very pretty as well. I just can't say enough positive things about this bible. I love that she will enjoy reading her bible. It makes a great gift, something that will be treasured for many years to come.
Great Bible for young ladies
This Bible has good advice for young ladies all through it. I bought one for my nieces that are 8 and 11. They both like them. The 11 year old said she likes it because it is easy to read. I would recommend this Bible for young ladies.

This is a great Bible especially for a teenager girl. Our daughter loves it. We highly recommend this if you are looking for a nice and Bible for a girl that is a teenager.... or even older. There would be nothing wrong with getting this for a girl that's younger than a teen either.
My granddaughter ❤️ her Bible!
This Bible is perfect for my 7 year old granddaughter! She loves it and it's easy for her to read and understand. She loved doing the exercises was well. The colors are pretty and girly just like me granddaughter! We are both happy with the Bible.
