It really flies!
I'm 68 and was thrilled to find that this item is still made. I had many hours of fun playing with these as a child. It is a delicate item made of balsa wood but is durable if not abused.

kids love them!
Bought these planes for 2 girls under 5 years of age for Christmas. I remember how much I liked balsa wood planes as a kid. These planes were the most popular gift - they stole the show. I wasn't sure if they would like them because even they use I-pads and phones. The only complaint I had was that I was the only adult that would play with the kids in the cold for an extended period of time. I will purchase yearly as Christmas gifts. Be sure to purchase several as spare parts. They will last about as long as their attention span.

This is the one you want!
We tried several other of the rubberband balsa planes and were disappointed. They were just so poorly constructed, and so weak, that they couldn't take off by themselves and/or shattered instantly in a crash - not like the ones we remembered when young. But this one was everything I remembered - it's made a bit thicker and more durable - crashes don't hurt it. And it has TWO rubberbands that it uses at the same time for extra umph - it can fully take off from the ground by itself, and can fly over the neighbor's roof. Plus, it has thoughtful adjustment tips printed on the underside of the wings. After almost giving up on other rubber band planes, I just ordered a second of this one. :)

These are great!!!
This little flying machine really works. You may have to fiddle around with the wing positions. After I found where it flies perfectly, I put in a few drops of white glue to hold the wings and vertical stabilizer in place. I use this technique: Wind the rubber band so there's a double row of knots in the rubber band; set the plane on its wheels on the front porch; let it go and it will fly of the edge of the porch just like launching off a carrier deck!!

Nostalgia at its best
Just as I remember these from childhood! Sometimes you can't beat simplicity. Delicate, but my nephew LOVES it!!

Kids can break it but you tape it back and go again.
This is nice. Just like when I was a kid. I got two for the grandchild. One for spare parts. He kept breaking it and I would tape it back together. He got a whole afternoon of fun out of it. Can't ask for more.

great for adults too
Simple rubber band powered plane. Easy to assemble and use, and works great. Its made out of balsa wood, so you can break it if you handle it roughly, but plenty durable if you are a little careful about it. Lots of fun for the price.

Great product easy assembly
These are great. The kids and I had alot of fun flying them. I Don't expect them to last forever they are balsa wood after all. Thats why I ordered extra. After many crashes I was able to use a small amount of wood glue to fix one of ours.

Kid's love these!
My 5 year old grandson ignored his expensive birthday gifts and played for 3 hours with this plane!
